Job Title: NDIS Support Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator who can start immediately. As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping participants achieve greater independence across all facets of their lives. You will work closely with participants to:

  • Identify their goals and support needs.

  • Source and coordinate relevant services.

  • Ensure effective use of their NDIS plans.

  • Overcome any barriers they may encounter

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with participants, their families, and external service providers.

  • Negotiate with providers and help participants understand costs associated with their NDIS budgets.

  • Draft and complete service agreements and bookings

  • Take a holistic approach to capacity-building, empowering participants to address challenges and build resilience.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record in the disability sector, with comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS and its processes

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organisational abilities to juggle multiple participant needs

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Disabilities or Mental Health, or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Support Coordinator

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance

  • Completion of the NDIS worker orientation module

  • Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
