Welcome to Good Shepherd Support Services, where our story intertwines with deep personal roots and a mission to provide genuine connections. 

Over two decades, our founders have passionately dedicated themselves to the Disability and Child & Families sector. Our inception wasn't just based on professional experience, but an emotional personal journey. Inspired by Moses, a beloved nephew living with cerebral palsy and autism, our ethos is etched with resilience, empathy, and a burning desire to elevate care standards. 

Witnessing the challenges Moses faced, especially during a trying time when he was placed in shared accommodation, fuelled our commitment. That very experience was a stark reminder that the realm of disability support needed not just service, but a heartfelt understanding of each individual's unique world.

 Nestled in the heart of Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter regions, Good Shepherd's services stand out. While we offer a broad range of disability services with a specialisation in physical and complex needs, our distinct edge lies in our approach.

Before we embark on the journey of support, we dive deep into understanding each individual with each of our support workers having a foundation of empathy through our emotional intelligence assessments. This ensures our care isn't just tailored but resonates deeply with those we serve. 

 

From providing transportation with wheelchair accessibility to engaging in social activities, from planning daily tasks to organising tailored respites, we're here every step of the way. Our recent endeavours, like accommodating a participant at Terminus apartments or organising a trip to Sydney's delights, showcase our dedication to enriching experiences.
