Lifeline Hunter is part of Lifeline Direct (LLD), one of the service delivery arms of Lifeline Australia (LLA). Lifeline Direct is an amalgamation of five Lifeline Centres. They operate independently and serve local community; they enjoy the benefits of a shared administrative function. Each community sites are independently run, operating directly in the community, for the community with the community.
Lifeline Hunter provides crisis support, face to face counselling, mental health support and suicide prevention. People call Lifeline’s 24 hour crisis support service about many things including:
Anxiety
Depression
Loneliness
Abuse and trauma
Physical or mental wellbeing
Suicidal thoughts or attempts
Stresses from work, family or society
Information for friends and family
Face to Face Counselling - face to face counselling is by self-referral, so you can call and make your appointment. ;
