Soul Hub

Soul Hub is a Newcastle-based charity supporting people experiencing homelessness, social isolation, mental health challenges, addiction, financial hardship and personal crisis. Originally established as Soul Cafe in 2003, it has grown into a community hub providing practical assistance, connection and access to a range of professional support services.

Soul Hub provides free meals and grocery assistance alongside facilities such as bathrooms, laundry services and spaces where people can connect in a welcoming environment. Its Guest Support Team and social workers can also assist people to connect with appropriate services and advocate on their behalf.

Through partnerships with other organisations and professionals, Soul Hub offers access to services including medical clinics, mental health support, recovery programs and other community-based assistance. Its approach focuses on practical support, building community and bringing multiple services together in one accessible location.
