Vision: Equality and justice for all children and young people in Australia./ Mission statement: Our mission is to work for and in support of children and young people, their rights and access to justice. In support of this mission, we work in three key areas -- the provision of information and advice to young people, rights monitoring and advocacy, and influential leadership through research, law reform, and productive partnerships. Information and advice We provide quality information, referral, advice and training on the legal rights of children and young people. Our main conduits are the Lawstuff website, which provides accurate legal information on a range of topics relevant to young people, and our free email advice service, Lawmail. Rights monitoring and advocacy We promote the realisation of children and young people's human rights in Australia, principally by reference to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CROC). Influential leadership Improving outcomes for children and young people through research, policy development, and law reform.
