Travel and Accommodation Assistance training01Financial assistance is available to help with some of the costs of visiting a close family member or kinship relative who is in custody in a NSW Correctional Centre. If you live more than 100km from the Correctional Centre you wish to visit, and are experiencing financial hardship that prevents travelling the long distances, then you may be eligible for this support. If you don’t think you meet the eligibility criteria but there are exceptional circumstances, please call us for a confidential chat about what we can do to help. Travel and Accommodation Assistance Information and Form Information and Referral Service CRC provides via telephone an information, advocacy and referral service for people in crisis. Staff members are able to assist with referral for emergency accommodation, referral for financial assistance, referral for advocacy services and counselling services. Clients are urged to contact CRC whenever the need may arise, however, they are also advised that they will be required to speak to whichever staff member is rostered on duty and will not be provided with an ongoing caseworker.
