A plan review is the regular process of checking whether your NDIS plan still matches your goals, supports and current circumstances.

Plans are usually reviewed at intervals set by the NDIA. Reviews may happen because your circumstances have changed, because the supports in your plan are no longer meeting your needs, or because your goals and priorities have changed.

Preparing for a review

Before a review, it helps to think about what has worked, what has not worked, and what support is still required. You may want to gather information from providers, health professionals, families or carers, and reflect on whether your current plan helps you achieve your goals.

What can change at review?

At review, the NDIA may consider changes to funded supports, available funding, the management of your plan, or the level of support you need. It is okay to ask questions and to explain why certain supports are important to your daily life and long-term goals.

If you are unhappy with a decision, you can ask for the decision to be reviewed or seek further support from an advocate or support coordinator.
